Great album. I love the people that they chose to do the various pieces. Benedict Cumberbatch reading Jaberwocky is worth the price of the album. Loads of fun.

Beautiful recording
This is a masterful recording of Respighi's classic. I very much enjoy it.

Good sound, but with a few serious drawbacks
I love the sound of these headphones. They deliver a crisp, clear bass with plenty of power. They stay in your ear very well, and are not prone to fall out. Even the cord is strong and sturdy. They are great headphones, except for three problems.
First, they seriously hurt in my ear after only half an hour or so of wearing them. The silicon cushion that goes around the speaker is very comfortable, and fits nicely in my ear, but just behind that there is a little metal drum, with angular edges. This presses right up against part of my ear, and after a short time, really starts to hurt and feel bruised. Most in-the-ear buds that I have tried in the past have not had this problem.
Second, there is a tremendous amount of noise bleed-through from the outside. I expected, once I got these in, that they wouldn't allow me to hear things around me. Instead, I could easily hear sound, almost as if they weren't there.
Lastly, I am annoyed that they have no volume control. The Apple ear buds that these take the place of have a clever button that allows you to pause, play, go forward a song, and go back a song, along with controlling the volume. These headphones do all the same thing, except for the volume control. So, if I want to raise or lower the volume, I have to fish the iPod out from whatever pocket it's in, and control the volume from there.
So, they are good little headphones, but they have just a few problems that, for me, seriously impact my ability to enjoy them. If they were cheap $15 headphones, I wouldn't mind, but where these normally run for $70, I would expect stuff like this to be eliminated. If you can get them for a cheap price, that's cool, but if you're going to be paying $40-$70 for them, I'd seriously consider my purchase first. See if you can find a place to try them out for yourself.
