Good Enough For the Weekend Arrmorer
2 of 2 found this helpful I like the BEV block for several reasons.
1. It is an affordable alternative to buying a Reaction Rod and a lower vice block
2. Much better than the old clam shell set up that puts pressure on your upper receiver installing/uninstalling barrels
There are some drawbacks to the BEV block
1. The fit can be a bit sloppy compared to the Reaction Rod
2. I can not flip a barrel and receiver upside down to install a gas block like you can with a reaction rod
All in all, the BEV block is a good value if you only plan to use it a few times per year.
