Subtle upgrade for a well-finished HD!
Excellent little touch to finish a polished HD. Even from several feet away, these make a great difference over the unfinished allenheads. For the more shallow allen recesses, clipping the claws down a little and adding a dab of silicone sealant ensure a sure fit and easy replacement after routine servicing. It's a shame HD discontinued these, because they're a nice, understated touch!

Exceptional tire, if you can find it!
An exceptional tire that wears surprisingly well, tremendous dry weather handling, and behaves admirably in wet weather. Without wear bars that are as easily discerned on most other brands, it would be tempting to let them roll to 20k miles. I got more than my money's worth at 15k! These are only manufactured for a few months each year, so be patient in your search; and ask about the 4-digit manufacture date before committing to the purchase...you'll be rewarded with the sure-footedness of fresher tires. Just put on my 4th set, and will start looking for a deal on my 5th!
