This is the second one I have bought.
1 of 1 found this helpful The first one was the 22-46 VDC with MPPT of 37-44 VDC for two solar panels. That one has been performing well for several months. The second one (11-28 VDC with MPPT of 17-25 VDC) is for supplementing my power surge needs, which I did by hooking directly to two 12 volt batteries in series. I have it set up to switch on when my air conditioner is running, and off when my air conditioner turns off. The unit was producing 470-480 watts, with a 30 amp fuse in line. Once I get the finances for another two deep cell batteries, I will be buying more units.

As described
Putting this new unit on my A/C actually decreased the run voltage by 1 amp.

I tried nine ways to Sunday to make this thing help my reception, because I needed it to, but not luck.
