The magic smell of the R
3 of 3 found this helpful Back in the 70's the original castrol r was the 2 stroke oil of the day. the smell was magical . it would get on your cloths and everywhere you went you smelled the R. well the 70's past and we grew up . But i never forgot that smell. 40 years later i was using a heat gun and the leather gloves i was wearing got really hot, then i smelled something sweet and amazing and i smelt my gloves and it reminded me of the Castrol r . so i searched forums over and over and found one that was talking about the original castrol r. the original is gone but the R40 is here and it smells just like it. great stuff you gotta get it!
