Jeep xj steering upgrade.
1 of 1 found this helpful Simple, solid and easy to install. Parked on flat surface with wheels straight, measured between tie rod mounts on steering knuckles , used a eight dollar puller from Harbor Frieght to remove tie rods. Bolted up new tie rod and drag link, reattached my steering stabilizer with supplied hardware. Installed grease zirks, greased joints and drove away. The only problem was the right front wheel would hit the tie rod when I turned to the left and bound up. I have stock 15" aluminum Jeep wheels and had to get wheel spacers (I used 1.5") before I could drive it. Wish I would have known before I installed this so I could have bought spacers first. These things are super heavy duty and look cool too. Ready for some wheelin.
