Great value, but doesn't fit snug
I recommend these to have as a backup, but the micro-usb socket is a bit short. Because of this, cables can put pressure on the connection and fall out. For example, I like to charge my phone with a backup battery in my backpack, but these connectors fall out. If you charge on a counter top where there's no movement it should work fine.

Great travel & all-around zoom lens
Included as a kit lens with most bodies, this 18-55 ED ii is a very sharp & lightweight all-around zoom. Because it's lightweight, you can take it with you in any kit while traveling abroad. This is a must-have for every kit.

Do your research and buy this one
1 of 1 found this helpful This pro model is the only consumer-level model that has 3 killer features : a metal motor, gradual start-up and the bowl-lift design. Why are these necessary over the lower models?
The all-metal motor is not only more durable and heat-tolerant, but has an auto-shut-off that kicks in when you overload it.
The gradual start up prevents splashing when mixing & whipping wet ingredients like cream or eggs.
And the bowl lift design is more sturdy than the tilt-head on the artisan and classic-plus models. Although the tilt-design models are more compact, the hinge itself is a common failure point especially when working on high-torque loads like bread dough.
Long story short, buy this one unless you don't have a countertop with 17 inches of clearance.
