1 of 1 found this helpful Well I find the scanner extremely useful for Japanese and other foreign vehicles it does not have a lot of necessary programs to interact with the transmission control module or crank shaft position sensors that's a major for me so I will have to buy another scanner with those functions. Other than that the scanner is pretty useful for foreign vehicles are American cars are limited especially dodge and ford, but it will give you the basic stuff also a very good in depth scan so you can find other major issues. would recommend for a beginner
