Couple of adjustments needed but does the job

This storage unit is great and helped us to clear a lot of cupboard/counter space in our kitchen, however it's default configuration needed a little tweaking to make it perfect. We found we had to raise the front of the shelves up so that they sat at an angle, making it sturdier overall. It also took a bit of trial and error to assemble the unit in a way that minimised wobbling. Overall, I recommend it as it holds a lot more spices/jars than other options.

Excellent pallete

I bought this to use with gouache paints, and I've been very pleased with the performance so far. It is indeed watertight and airtight as advertised. I haven't used it for travel yet, but I have used it to retain a pallete of mixtures for paintings I take a break from. The gouache paints tend to stay wet for 2-3 days depending on the 'thickness' of the gouache - after which they start to develop a skin that can be reconstituted with a spray of water. The removable plastic insert is handy for expanding the amount of mixtures you can make and also for cleaning. Overall, this pallete meets my needs of keeping paint mixtures usable for longer periods. I look forward to trying it out in plein air when the weather picks up.

Good for starting out

I purchased this tool as an amateur leathercrafter and have found it to be a sufficient starter tool. I have not yet used the punch sewing functionality, but have extensively used the edge beveller and groover. As far as edge bevelling goes, I would recommend sharpening these bits frequently with a arkansas stone as they tend to dull. Overall this tool is perfectly acceptable until you can afford to upgrade to better tools.
