The most amazing bagging system EVER!
1 of 1 found this helpful Just what I've been looking for! First, I needed reusable bags that were washable. CHECK! Second, I needed usable bags that were all the same size and design. CHECK! And, third, I wanted them to be color-coded so I could sort my groceries as I bagged them. CHECK! Yeah, I may be a little OCD, but this set-up is amazing! Red for meat, blue for dairy, green for produce and orange for things that don't have to be refrigerated or put away immediately. They fit into the chrome holders at the grocery store, weigh practically nothing and scrunch into an ADORABLE little zipper pouch which I can fit into my purse. I take them everywhere I go. You will love them!

Better than Hitchcock's
In my opinion, it is better than the Hitchcock version. Jeremy Brett is fabulous as Maxim and represents the gentle/angry nature of the character far better than Olivier. Joanna David plays "the girl" with more intensity and sincerity and thus demonstrates the character's appeal to Maxim. And Anna Massey as Mrs. Danvers is absolutely chilling. What great casting. The novel builds to an incredible finale with many sinister and dark foreshadowing events. This film version stays true to the author's intent. A great tale. The only drawback is the fuzzy cinematography. With all the lush scenery and magnificence described in the novel by DuMaurier, you'll just have to imagine what it would really look like. But we can't bring back Jeremy Brett for a do-over. More's the pity.

Complete version of a great story!
I found this version on Ebay and was so happy! I previously had the edited version on VHS tape and was worried the original was no longer being made. This is the whole, complete video from the BBC series. It has been re-mastered so the picture is clearer than my old VHS. The inside scenes were shot direct to tape and the outside scenes were transferred, so you can still tell where those interruptions are, but don't fret about that. Just enjoy the most intriguing and positive story of a lifetime. My only regret is that I didn't read "The Secret Garden" when I was a child. The magic would have changed my life. But this DVD makes the story come alive. Enjoy it!
