Band of Brothers
1 of 1 found this helpful I saw the the HBO series and now the book. Read the book it is better and was written by one of the best authers. I need not say more! Stephen E. Ambrose Jr. has written several books on military history and I have read a few of them and intend to hunt down the ones I do not have, to read and add them to my collection of military history. I will miss his way of telling and writing about our greatest generation !!

2 of 2 found this helpful I got so caught up in the the realism of the series that I was in tears feeling what they felt, a great and realistic movie that actually draws you in and makes you feel like you are really their with the 506th !!!

A history and development of the gun.
This is a good book, plenty of information/ history of gun development, their uses during the time they were made or introduced and some of the people who used them. it also goes into where they were used and why, very interesting book.
