perfect for classical strings
these provide some of the smoothest sound I have heard, far above the usual earbud in quality. None of the "tizzy" metallic high end. Perfect for classical listening especially - strings sound natural and unforced. The noise cancellation is an added bonus.

just for this particular one
doesn't seem to work. Looks good, though, just sitting there!

Works well but strangely refused to play a DVD coded for the USA.
