Great approach to early reading.
1 of 1 found this helpful I found this book when my youngest child was 4 and I was starting with her reading. I have homeschooled all 9 of my children. She is now 25. I found this approach to reading kept her interest at a young age and also reinforced skills in her older brothers as they sat in on lessons.
We had used a variety of materials over the years and I must say that for beginning reading this is my favorite. We supplemented with Bob Books and then on to other advanced reading programs.

The Staircase
1 of 1 found this helpful I had seen the staircase while in Santa Fe and wanted to see the movie. It close to the story, but from what I had read about the legend of the staircase much of the storyline was written to make the story and the miracle of the staircase more acceptable by the public.

Fun and practical
I purchased doll carrier for granddaughter's 18" doll. It works nicely for her to keep her doll and clothes in one place and she loves to carry as a backpack when going to family and friends for a visit.
