Buy OEM battery, or at least an aftermarket battery with a warranty.
I've had the battery for about 6 months now, and have probably less than 10 cycles through it and it just failed suddenly. The power dissipated almost instantly as I powered up the tool. When i inserted the battery in the charger after this incident, the charger is reading the battery as defective.
The battery worked well initially. For the price I would have been happy if I got a year or so of service before the performance dropped, even considering how little use it gets. To have it become completely inoperable after 6 months is a total waste...
