Good for a variety of ages
My son is 4 and he is often mistaken for a 6 or 7 year old, due to his height and he plays happily with this kitchen daily. He does need to bend down or kneel to access the oven and cupboard and area for recycling bin but he does with any play kitchen, so that is normal. e have had kids from the age of 2 up to 9 play with this set and all seem to enjoy it. The burner makes two sounds; boiling sound when the cooking pot is place don the burner and frying sound when the fry pan is placed on the burner. This kitchen was very easy to assemble and set up for play within 10 minutes or less. IT is made durably and like most Step2 products should last for years. There is a decent amount of room available for holding more food and dishes you may purchase at a later date. I like that it doesn't take up too much floor space. The only thing I can say to the negative on this is there is no refrigerator. My son uses the cupboard under the sink for now and I don't think he really minds, but a potential purchaser may so I mention. All in all I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
