Square carbide wood turning bit
I've used high speed steel gouges for a while now and find that they need to be resharpened quite often - especially with harder woods. I read about carbide bits and the satisfaction other users were having using them so I thought I would give them a try also. I am very happy with how they perform! Even the hard woods respond to these bits. Now I can spend more time actually working on the wood piece at the lathe instead of sharpening my tools all the time. I would highly recommend these carbide bits to do the job quickly.
