Thermomart PID-RS ramp & soak kiln temperature controller
3 of 3 found this helpful This programmable controller works great I have used it to control four glaze firings,and the program executed flawlessly. It was difficult to learn how to program, and the example in the manual was useful. But my controller worked slightly different than the example; Program the time of the ramp (r01 =60 for example), program the length of the soak (T01=0 for example) then program the end of ramp temperature in C (C01=180 for example). Only the actual sensed temperature can be change to degrees F...
It is great to turn on the control (run=3) and walk away and the controller takes care of the kiln for you in accordance with your programmed instructions.
Well worth the price!
