Won't stay tight

This kept loosening up as I would drive. The last time it happened I had a significant fuel spill over the front of my freshly painted engine which took a lot of painstaking work with a paintbrush to fix. I tried to tighten it as best I could, and ended up stripping the threads. I normally don't like to post negative reviews, but I do feel that there is a safety concern. It was installed on a carbureted engine with fuel pressure significantly lower than the maximum listed. It's past the return date, so I ended up recycling it.
