Mirror Clips, And Fixings Set Of 4 Fort Fasteners®
Jul 16, 2019
Only fit for the bin.
Even at the cheap price, they are not worth the money. The screws are far too short and only half the length of the wall plugs. The instructions and contents list specify metal washers - none to be seen, only plastic ones. The clips themselves have visible grooves in them from the bending process and look very cheap and nasty. Need I say more!

Does what it's supposed to do
Not a lot you can say. Does what it's supposed to do, so see how long it lasts.
Genuine Land Rover Discovery 5 Front Mud Flaps - VPLRP0283 (SEND REG)

Form over function
I purchased these very expensive bits of plastic (still made in China) for my Disco 5 mainly because I've got side steps fitted and wanted to keep the bulk of the muck and wet off them (the steps on my last disco rusted away after a few years). Whilst these mudguards look good and fit snugly to the bottom panel when fitted correctly, they simply aren't big enough in my opinion, and I still get mud sprays up the front doors. It was also a complete faff to get the new bottom fixing bolt in because you have to align four different holes in various pieces of plastic before you even get to the nut. Possibly why LR charges so much for fitting them! Also, be warned, if you buy the rear ones as well the only LR fitting instructions I could find on line are for a different part number and show the incorrect measurent for the hole you have to drill in the bottom side panel. Good job I checked all dimensions on the mudflaps themselves before I started drilling anything! Finally, I put longer STL. STL. screws in the bottom fixing to help me align all the holes and get a start on the nut, because the ones supplied are barely long enough. Have fun!
