Split decision
I am not sure on the "Do you recommend it?" question. The price is great, true, but the bristle fly out a little to easily. I was picking them out of my shirt the rest of the day. The brush is only good for one job. I don't think I will be buying these again, not intentionally at least. Unless, of course, I am suckered in by the price. I am kinda that way.

The more you use it the less you have.
Yeah I know that didn't make any sense to me either. The heat shrink tubing is good, the lengths are convenient. The price is fair. That all seems pretty good to me.

Exactly what I needed
I was looking for 8mm rods and could not find any from a USA shipper so I bought these. As you know 5/16 inch is just a sliver shy of 8mm. I needed the rods to fit snugly in the inner diameter of a 608 bearing. There is a tolerance in the manufacturing and several of the rods were 8mm or damn close. I got what I needed and was very pleased.
The description says the ends are saw cut--but it would be difficult to get a better end cut unless it was polished. There were no burrs, it was smooth and square.
All in all, very good quality.
