The PSVR2 is so slick, very easy to set up and play around with. The lenses are OLED with very deep colors, so much fun!

Full featured smartwatch
I have pretty much never had any interest in smartwatches, because I don't wear a watch normally and most of them just seem like minor extensions of your phone. But when I bike to or from work, sometimes I need to communicate with my wife, and my phone is usually locked up tight in my waterproof backpack, so I finally found a need for one, but only if it would be able to take and make phone calls. I did some research on cheap watch phones on Amazon, all of which had pretty bad reviews, so I started to look for a "cheap" name brand watch that could make calls. Enter the Gear S.
The Gear S is a few generations old at this point, but it was Samsung's attempt at making a full featured "phone" you could wear on your wrist. I can take and make phone calls from the phone (by Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy phone, or prepaid Sim that I put in there), and it is big enough to allow a full keyboard for typing text messages. It also has a decent speaker in it, so I can listen to music without headphones while biking to and from work.
I handle most of the control through Samsung Voice, which you can access by double clicking the only button on the Gear S. I've fired off several text messages that way, told it to play music, and made a phone call or two while biking. It's really handy to have. Because it's an older watch, it's a little bit slow sometimes, but it always works, and that's appreciated.
There are other apps on there for exercise, sleep, biking, etc., and even the Opera Mini browser! I had to sideload it using a Tizen developers kit, but it's crazy to have a working browser on my watch!
It's a big beast on your wrist, but looks kind of manly to me, so I definitely don't mind wearing it out. I've been loving it so far and have even started trying to find reasons to take it places instead of my phone, since you can still tether it to your phone remotely and have your messages and calls forwarded to it (you need a Sim card with a phone number to forward calls, but only a wifi connection to get and send texts).
I bought a T-Mobile Financed IMEI watch, but it seems to work fine on a prepaid card from a different carrier, and I'm mostly only using it paired with my Verizon Galaxy S7 anyway. Great watch, great price, I'm definitely pleased with my purchase.
