Simple and basic. Better for water volume and temp control than the single knob system.
This standard two handle system is better for water volume adjustment and temp control. I tried the single knob version. it was nice that you could adjust the volume and temp using a single lever, but it was far too touchy. Very hard to get the temp right. And got worse with age. Both designs, like most, dribble water from the hose vacuum breaker and that runs into the main body. You have to leave a place for that water to leak out of the body or it can run out of the back and into the wall.

Cheap piece of junk
You could see large areas where the finish was missing. The back plate was very sharp on the edge and would probably cut you. Going to throw it in the trash. Would be embarrassed to even wear it to walmart

The replacement works fine. A shame that they don't last longer
