Floureon TH-210 3 in 1 Stud Center Finder Metal and AC Live Wire Detector

Adequate for the price and perhaps more than that
First, I find it necessary to say that the images of product on eBay are misleading having all the symbols visible on the display. At no point is that the case, but one or two symbols at a time. Second, the manufacturer should provide some short manual to help us use it more effectively. They count on our intuition in using it, but one cannot exactly know how this particular model works. For example, when does the "scan button," which is on the side, need to be pressed, which is perhaps the most important question? From my testing, I would say it should rather be named the "calibration button" because it must be pressed every time the detection mode is changed. Second, during the calibration, does the device have to be placed on the surface to be examined or away from it? Third, does it this "scan button" have to be pressed all the time during the detection process or only during the calibration? Namely, I found out that the device would detect the wire or metal etc. even if the scan button was released after the calibration process. However, it may be of the precision, too. Having said that, I find it to be quite useful and accurate. I even compared it to a much higher priced Bosch PMD 7 stud detector (which I am pretty disappointed with) and this Floureon TH210 detector scores no worse and that makes it price more valuable (apart from the fact that either detector can alert you one time when you slide it over the surface and remain quiet the next time, which drives me crazy). Unlike this Bosch model that I own, which penetrates pretty deep and sounds on every little thing, which makes it even counter productive, because you get an impression that the wall is full of ac and plain wires and it becomes confusing, the fact that with Floureon you first have to choose the penetration depth actually helps because then you have a better idea how deep behind the wall surface the object is, unlike Bosch where you have no clue and have to blindly guess. The display shows the depth only in inches. It would be nice to have it in millimeters, too. In addition, instead of going only in one direction, it would help if one could select the mode of operation in either direction.

Sricam SP005 WiFi Wireless 720P HD Infrared Night Vision IP Camera WHITE EU PLUG

Worth that price
Except for not having such an elegant look, I cannot blame anything specific about this camera so far (I have used it for several weeks). It works practically equally stably and accurately as the more expensive Sricam model SP019. The price difference most likely comes from that fact SP005 is 720p- and SP019 is 1080p- camera. I have not really tried two-way audio so far on this camera, but I guess it would be of similar quality as on SP019, which means it is so-so. Not really as exciting and smooth as the product description suggests, but you will probably find satisfaction in receiving good enough a quality of the inbound sound. Another valuable thing is the ability to remotely play videos that have been stored on the camera-based SD Card. A good to have a feature is also a socket for a UTP (ethernet) cable so that one can also used it in a wired mode, if desired, even though wireless mode appears more attractive for most situations. Sometimes, it will be impossible to get the picture from the camera, but it in fact is not about the camera, but rather a Sricam server which communicates with every camera and relays camera video towards a user. Every now and then, their servers seem to get overloaded and unresponsive for the time being, but with some patience, it will usually recover soon. The price competitor to this SP005 model seems to be Sricam's SP020 model, which looks pretty elegant and nominally has similar features, but I had bad experience with one of SP020 models (LED lights going on an off like crazy in a low-light conditions). I cannot say if that is a serial bug with SP020, or I just had a bad luck. On that other hand, SP019 works stably, but is somewhat more expansive. In the middle of that range, one can find the SP005 model to be a reasonable compromise price- and quality-wise.

Value for the money. Perhaps a bit firmer contact sought as well as lower resistance.
It has not been long enough in use, since I bought it, to totally confidently describe the experience, but the early experience can be summed in the following three impressions: - it is a very practical and good value for the price - it seems that it loses electrical contact if the cable is a shaken up a little bit, which should not be so sensitive, but the male and female connector should be more firmly locked
