To long, to work for me

My head measures approx. 27". This measures 29", it has to overlap the Velcro to even begin to tighten, and still doesn't keep my mouth closed. I have sleep apnea, and this won't help. My wife is going to try to take a tuck, to shorten it up. Too bad it doesn't come in sizes, this one for giants, and shorter versions, for females, and standard males
