Have used the battery features of the control house to run our solar fountain feature. Use the 6v rechargable battery to run my 3 tear fountain for 16 hrs.(with no solar). Takes 3-4 hrs. to recharge battery (using a 6v car battery charger). Great backup for the 9v, 3w 250l/h....... pump. (Original existing pump unit ). The 10.5v,30w larger pump will be used as a standby pump. The solar panel provided does not drive the existing smaller 3w pump. We use our 9v,3w battery (7.4v-2000mAH.) backup solar panel. SOLAR PUMP -B-35-DX250 is good for backup on our Solar Fountain 52-90.
