Solid Rotary Dial

This dial is well made and solid. There are only two issues otherwise it would be perfect. As it is I expect to use them in many future projects. Issue 1. As the dial is rotated it has an indent on every step. This was unexpected and while you do get used to it I would prefer if you did not feel the indents. Issue 2. You get contact bounce which you have to filter out. With my software this means there is a limit to the maximum rate I can move the dial. I can live with both but if these points could be improved it would be the perfect dial.

Good for Soft Materials

When I ordered this I wondered how good the quality would be. After using it for a while I would only recommend use of the drill/tap/debur for plastic or soft metals such as aluminium. When I tried to tap 1.2mm soft steel I ended up damaging the bit. So good for some purposes, but stay away from steel.

Seems to Work Okay

Only used one piece so far but it performs as expected in a mixer circuit. This is better than another order in the past which seemed to be made up of out of spec devices.
