Works like a champ!
Had my Benz mechanic install this today. Leak is no more! The old o-ring definitely was the culprit. It took longer to access and fill the reservoir and reassemble the trunk than it did to repack the cylinder. The procedural suggestions were spot on. Even with having to pay my mech for his time, this for $12 plus labor cost about 1/4 - 1/3 of what an MB service shop would have charged for a new cylinder install. Thank you.
