A Great Summary of Many Bible Stories, including some often overlooked chapters
4 of 4 found this helpful When your child cannot read yet or understand the full content of the Holy Bible, we depend on Bible story books to share the Scriptures with them in a way they can understand. Many Bible story books, however, only touch on the larger and better known stories and do not give a great picture of everything that is included in a full length Bible. Nor is their wording very true to the original content of the Bible, changing some things to make it more "kid friendly." Well, this is not one of those. I have read several chapters from this Bible story book, and not only are the pictures the best I have ever seen in a children's Bible, but the content contained within is impressive, with an extensive list of Old Testament and New Testament stories, even some prophecy and Psalms. It is not the whole Bible, but it is a great tool to use, especially for those children who are unable to read yet. We now use this Bible to help teach our young ones in our church's children's Bible study, as the pictures keep them interested and the wording is not only a great summary of the real text, but written in a way that makes it easily understandable. I highly recommend this Children's Bible story book.

The Benchmark for Children's Study Bibles
I have purchased several of these Bibles over the years, and I was glad to find them at a great price to hand out at our children's Bible study. Not only is the whole NIrV scriptures enclosed, which some children's Bibles do not have, but the way in which this version is organized helps children understand the big ideas within the Bible by highlighting them with easy to read devotions, some illustrations, and information about each of the books contained within the Bible. I highly recommend this Bible, which I would consider to be the benchmark for a young children's study Bible.
