Great classic country enertainers! Excellent sound!
The beginning of the movie is kind of silly, but when the country music starts it is one classic country star after another with excellant sound quality and picure quality! It looks and sounds like it was filmed using 35 millimeter movie film! If you like 1950's and 1960's country music even a little bit, you have got to get this DVD! You will love it! When I bought it I really did not know it had that good of picture and sound quality and when I first listened to it I was blown away! It is one of those that I play over and over and after I have shown it to friends they ask me to play it again and again when they come over, which I love to do. It is one that I have given as gifts to friends. It was shot in 1966. I am guessing it was filmed at a theater or sound stage in Nashville and then the vocals were overdubbed in a recording studio. Highly recommened, you will not regret buying it!!! Mike

Super Bright! Well Made
Compared this to my old headlamp, this one blew my old lamp away, MUCH BRIGHTER and with a much wider beam besides, so far I REALLY like it, seems to be made a little better than my old one. It did seem over priced but I bought a second one anyway because it works so well. Despite high price I would recommend this lamp to others.

Very Good TV - Needs To Be Professionally Calibrated
3 of 3 found this helpful This TV looks astounding when watching Blu-ray discs, the up conversion of this TV is EXCELLENT! I purchased/hooked up the Samsung media box that comes preloaded with six 4k UHD movies, two of which are UHD with HDR. I went to the M-GO app on the TV and ordered/downloaded the movie "Life Of Pi" (won the 2012 Academy Award for cinematography). I also have the movie on Blu-ray disc so I did a comparison and at first I thought the up converted Blu-ray looked better than the 4K UHD HDR version but after a little more comparison I think the 4K version has just a little better picture quality but on a ten point rating scale, giving the 4K version a ten, I would rate the Blu-ray a nine! To me it was just that close! So I know this TV is capable of a most outstanding picture however when watching DirecTV that is showing a poor quality, old TV show, or an old poorly made commercial the picture quality looks really bad! It is like the great up converter this TV has is working against me. However, in the hopefully near future when the networks, Satellite company's, cable companies, and the local off air channels all start broadcasting in 4K HHD I am hoping that will solve most of this problem but I don't really know for sure. I have tried to make some picture adjustments myself and have gotten picture setting suggestions off of the internet and I have gotten the picture to look better but this TV has so many adjustment points and some are new to the 4K HDR TVs that I think I am going to hire a professional calibrator to calibrate this TV. All in all I like the TV and do not regret getting it.
