Not compatible with through hole maxwell 350F D-cell scap
Beware, NOT compatible with through hole maxwell 350F D-cell supercapacitors... Got mislead by title... Not even modifyable as polarities would be reversed and would damage resistors on the board...

Awesome for ditch lights and capacitor
I added a micro board made of 2 smd 220 uF capacitors and a resistor of 4.7k ohm (all in parallel) to discharge completely the cap once off track. Without the resistor, the board cpu becomes unresponsive upon short power interruptions as the caps stabilise at 0.4 v forever. Works nicely, easy to solder wires once on sd35 atlas n scale locomotive.

better than "smart" switches
it is better than any "smart" switch... adapts to light and turns on/off when needed after you program it to your desires... no wifi needed...
