Fun project if only instructions were included
Had to hunt for any instructions but there were many variations of this, so not sure if I put the right resistors in the right locations, the LED pads were mis-marked, negative side should have a square pad but with this it is reversed.
Overall a fun kit, I bought two and both working rather well.

This is a decent camera. very wide and very clear
2 of 2 found this helpful So this is my 4th dash camera. This one is by far the best picture of all of them and the others are also 1080P.
Video is extremely sharp and clear and yes it runs smooth with my Lexar Class 10 chip.
It uses Wi-Fi. This means when you launch the application on your phone. The phone will disconnect from your home Access Point and will associate the Wi-Fi SSID that this unit generates. I was impressed at how well it switched over. This also means if you leave your ignition on you can pull the video into your PC from the comfort of your home.
When installing it comes with some cheap fuses. I used a piggyback fuse system which had its own issue but turned out okay in the end. The individual wires that connect to the piggyback fuse are very thin. I wish they were better so must take care in installation.
On youtube there is a video of a woman installing one. I followed the same steps and had excellent results. No ugly wires and the system uses ignition on as well as battery so there is a few extra seconds of run time after you shut off the car so the system can do a proper shutdown when you shut off the engine so the file does not get corrupted.
The self adhesive is BLACK, this makes it difficult to see from the outside, there is no silver ring like the other ones and the lens does not pivot, it does not need to, the angle is very wide.
I took my time on the installation, it took me about an hour. Mostly because I was not sure how to remove pillars and panels and getting piggyback fuse holder to stay in place securely.
For the price this is a great unit.
