The first generation of the next generation
5 of 8 found this helpful I have been a videogamer since before there were official console systems. I have owned everything from the "black box" that allowed you to play "pong" to now the Xbox 360. So it's no surprise that I purchased this system. I'm sure I will own a PS3 and a Wii in the near future.
What I like about the 360: Many of the titles for it are games that I enjoy. Nearly all of the games take advantage of the hardware and they move fluently even when there are hundreds of characters on screen. I'm sure as time gones on things will only improve as the developers get more familiar with the hardware. I'm a big first person shooter fan and so there's no surprise in my choice of the 360.
The new wireless controllers are great. They are the most responsive wireless controllers I have ever used. I love the fact that you can turn the console on and off using the controller.
What I dislike about the 360: I really can't think of anything that I dislike. For being the first out of the gate with a next-gen system Microsoft did pretty good. It would have been great if they included the HD-DVD drive and HDMI support but that's life.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for videogames now that Microsoft has laid the foundation. Bring on the next, next-gen.

Excellent bench mount barrel vise
This worked perfectly for me! Really saved the day when I needed it!
I had an issue where the barrel extension came loose from the barrel that was still in the upper when trying to remove a flash hider during an AR upgrade.
I clamped the barrel vise to my bench using standard F clamps and took the entire upper and threw it into this vise. I was able to remove the flash hider and gas block allowing me to get the barrel nut and barrel off of the upper. Once that was done I was able to re-secure the barrel extension to the barrel and rebuild the upper.
Couldn't have done all of that without this handy tool.
