Cheep plastic - Be warned

Don't buy this thinking it'll survive transport for very long. It's made of cheep plastic and will break eventually. Opt for a metal version and pay a little more.

Very soft image - Research lens compatibility

Like all focal extenders, the sharpness of the image is greatly decreased. This seems to be most evident when combined with an already long focal length (100mm or more). The build is very solid, and pass through electronics function well. Be sure to research lens compatibility on the Sigma website.

Best accessory for a Racer 1 or 2

Once you go wireless, you'll never go back. Pros: Easy to bind with the Makro Racer 2. Excellent battery life. I've used it for more than 6 hours, and it still has a charge. Great looking design. Sound is very clear. Minimal outside noise. Cons: Power switch is a bit low profile for easily switching with gloves on. A bit short on the range. If you set down the detector, it can drop the signal if more than 3 feet away.
