Excellent resource for caregivers and social workers
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is one of the best I have read in over 30 years in healthcare. It deals with the vhallenges of the non-professional caregiver and the person cared for with practical solutions and answers to the stressful thoughts that each caregiver has. As 50% of the population will at some point be a primary caregiver, I would advise reading this book before rather than after being thrust into the situation.
It also should be a must-read for social workers, physicians, nurses and anyone in the long-term care insurance business.
Phenomenally well written.
