The Underground Railroad Sampler
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great book, because it has full directions, pictures, places for fabric samples for making historic quilts that celebrate African American quilting during the slavery era. The book is clearly written and the pictures are large enough to see the details of what the reader is being instructed to to do. I decided to buy the book on ebay, because it was offered at a great price and I needed it right away for a quilting class project. It rates high amongst the quilting books that I've purchased on ebay and elsewhere. It is a great project book for beginners as well as more advanced quilters.
