All Cans Expired!
This was last issued by Borden in 2016 and ALL cans are now expired! Good product when fresh, but this isn't. Do not buy this!

Great use of the rear surrounds
2 of 2 found this helpful These Moody Blues SACD's were transferred from the Quad mixes done in the 70's. They are NOT 5.1 - The center channel speaker has no signal, even though they call it 5.1 and the center channel speaker light comes on, the center speaker is silent. However, the original quad mixes by Derek Varnals were excellent with great use of the surrounds as a source of backup vocals, acoustic guitar, split double lead guitars, mellotron and even lead vocal on occasion. It is unfortunate that Lodge's bass was recorded so badly and these mixes cannot correct that, but with a bit of tweaking, you can make the bass legible. You really need to get these if you're a Moodies fan.
