Surreal Deal!
I'm 70 and I can't stop playing loud rock. The gigs come in, I'm booked & that's that. Love to sing, too.
Bad tinnitus for 30 years. What to do? The expensive audiologist earplugs are insufficient. I need blockage and only Skull Screws keep me blasting. Music stores stopped carrying them. At $6.95 a pair. This amazing deal from an eBay hero blows my mind. Quality and quantity for a mere pittance. Right on!

Local Lads Make Good
Book makes the case that the Beatles had to make it because Liverpool was the center of world culture. Also now the number one tourist attraction in Britain. Very good for the tourist in Liverpool with maps, etc. Never heard anywhere else that Pete Best's kick drum was miked. Blew everyone's minds. Also that Parlophone had Paul try upright bass for Love Me Do. Still no admission that the
Cavern was built as a slave dungeon, Liverpool being the center of the Atlantic slave trade.

Ever Seen a Bass Guitar?
A strange one. At no point does cover or ad confess that this is a primer for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS. Each string (there are 4) gets several chapters to ease the novice in slowly. There are several diagrams insuring the student knows what part of the bass is the neck.. At the end, anyone should be able to play Midnight Special root notes on a bass guitar. But interspersed are stories and observations on playing and players from the best bass players around. Michael Mannring has excellent Jaco tales. Dennis Dunaway spills the beans. So get the book anyway.
