Not a Gimmick as some would have it!

I've read other reviews from misguided customers, saying the fan is a gimmick, it doesn't push enough air to do any good. Well if you put a 240 volt or an efficient 12 volt fan on the fire and even if on low setting it would send a blast of hot air straight at you whitch would be rather unpleasant to cope with and after a short while you would have to turn it off. There are convection currents circulating around the stove top and this little fan gives them a helping hand to extend their range increasing the heat transferred to the room and drawing in cold air to be heated, it dose this and you aren't aware of the process, but the room dose feel warmer without being blasted and roasted. This Fan is value for money it is beautifully constructed and looks good and should give years of reliable service. You could pay twice as much for a fan but I don't think your going to get any better than this fan, it's a Ripper.
