    McClure Trading began as a retirement project with my 13 year old grandson. Having been an IT professional, we performed extensive research and testing on the major platforms. We found the 3 top graders, PSA, BECKETT, AND SGC were too expensive and In most cases turnaround time that did not allow taking advantage of peak periods for individual players. We also found these vendors charge your grading fee based on their anticipated card value. We then tried a leading Auction Operation, Goldin. I consigned a 1952 topps set. Goldin quickly put this up for auction without what I considered standard practices of working with me to establisha starting bid and set a reserve price. Since Goldin did not cover these basic items, I estimate their deception cost between $5 - $10k!. By this time, we concluded small to medium players couldn't compete! Then came Derek Jeters "The Arena Club" with AI tech allows a flat rate per card, regardless of value, and rapid turnaround. So we're still here!
