Excellent CD Set
Beautiful music from Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts, from many different projects over the years. I was already a fan from Cowboy Bebop, but found much more to love here.

Bizarre short film, great concert, but shaky-cam footage
The short film doesn’t really have anything to do with Cowboy Bebop. It follows the adventures of a cowboy boxer, pictured on the back of one of the Bebop soundtrack CDs. The film itself is in Korean, Japanese, and English, with no English subtitles. I only speak English, out of those three, but was still entertained for much of the running time.
The concert is great, audio-wise. And while it is excellent to see the band in action — it looks like it was an amazing concert to attend — the footage of the concert in this DVD looks like it was recorded with several hand-held consumer DV cameras. The footage is very shaky, low-rez, and just not professional at all. Further disappointing is that it it only includes five songs, and not all of the live songs that were included on the Cowboy Bebop CD-BOX set. I have seen more footage that seems to be from this same concert on YouTube, though, so I wonder where the original video for those other songs are from?
