Maywee = I was sick with Covid in February 2020. During the lockdown, right Outside my window, I kept hearing the two toddlers Nextdoor, who would normally be in childcare, were in the backyard playing throughout the day. I heard them repeatedly saying Wayz maywee Wayz May Wee! My last experience with Baby talk was 30 years ago, I’d never heard this before. After I recovered, I asked mom. What are they saying when they say “Wayz maywee”? The mom responded, they’re asking ‘Where’s Mary?’

Ok, but not great.
Not a great book, but an ok book. Not pulling me in, the way this author has done, many times.
