Great little charger
Nice charger to connect and forget to maintain your battery.

Defective and poorly engineered
3 of 4 found this helpful I was very disappointed with my Marantz PMD-300CP cassette deck because it has a very annoying humming sound that may be a motor running inside the unit even when the deck is powered off. The owner's manual says to unplug the unit when it is not to be used for a long time period. This sound is not only annoying but is also a power drain and may be a fire hazard. Lastly, when the ear mounts are not installed to secure the device, the play button is very hard to push and it requires one to hold the unit in place to keep it from being pushed back into my cabinet. I really expected Marantz (made in China) to do a better job of designing their product especially of not having the power to be completely turned off when activating the main power button.
