Recommeded as a secular biography of Jos Smith...good read. Fascinating!
I was looking into the history of Joseph Smith, and didn't want to read a LDS version. Remini wrote a good account, in my opinion. Not too long, and he seems to have covered it well.
Leaves a lot for the reader to ponder. Amazing story.

Dimarzio 36th Anniversary set induces huge smile!
Dimarzio means...satisfied customers! I replaced the dull Burstbuckers in my CR8 Les Paul with these, and I couldn't be happier! Full, lively, bright tones...just what I was looking for. The aged nickel covers are well done, and compliment the vibe of the guitar. A good value, and I would compare these to boutique pickups easily.

Yamaha CD-S2100 is awesome! Silverface matters!
I had previous experience with a Yamaha CD player from 1987, so I trust the brand. But my old CD player finally gave up the ghost after 30 years of service...so, it was time to shop for a quality replacement. First of all, silverface was a must for me, as this is where vintage stereo purists dwell. I had it boiled down to either a Marantz or another new Yamaha. I decided to go with Yamaha once again. This unit I believe is 2nd from top of the line, and the reviews I read were all thumbs up. So I clicked and ordered, and soon enough, I plugged my new CD-S2100 into my vintage Marantz 2245 receiver, then sat back and listened to the results emerging in jaw-dropping trueness and hair raising clarity thru my Klipsch Chorus II speakers. I couldn't be happier! Of course, you get a remote control with the new Yamaha. So I do have a modern addition to my vintage stereo system, which is only 2/3rds vintage now. Sorry, vinyl purists, I prefer the clarity and pureness of a CD over vinyl. YMMV. Thanks Yamaha for helping my enjoy music as much as I do. It is a very important ingredient in my quality of life.
