Best if the best
Sure fires are top quality for any device that requires a c-123
Battery. They have a shelf life of 10 years and perform in cold conditions. You can keep a flashlight in your car and know when you need it ----it's gonna work. I've used sure fire flashlights and batteries for many years. The batteries are not cheap but this vender seemed to have them at a cost lower than most. Bottom line is you can buy a sure fire product with confidence

Alladin lamps with these produce outstanding light!
The secret is the use of these mantles. I feel $15.is a bit high. Especially so as the mantle is as fragile as a butterfly wing. I’ve lost more than one trying to install, where they fell apart into dust thus losing $15, then having to reinstall a second. So being ultra careful in handling is A MUST!!!!
With all this being said an Aladdin oil lamp with one of these mantles will provide more light than 6 or more traditional oil lamps or lanterns.
Must be seen in use to be believed. Two of these lamps will illuminate a room where you can easily read or do cooking. Alladdin lamps start at $125 on up. While I do own some traditional oil lamps that just use a Cotten wick as backup these are what I use first. Once you use one of these you’ll never have want or need for more. people who live in off the grid situations rely on this for good reason. All the people living in Alaska use them. There is nothing better you can find PERIOD!!!!!!

Used them to upgrade a low cost epiphone les paul special without breaking the bank
I actually purchased an epiphone les paul special as a knock about guitar leaving my expensive guitar. This low end guitar was $150. Hardly breath taking sound. But ok. These pickups are in epiphone higher end guitars. I installed these into a low cost guitar and got a much nicer and clearer sound. This pickups are great for modest upgrade projects like this.
