Great History
A great albeit brief history of a base that has stood the test of time (and BRAC). From WWII to the present, Ellsworth AFB has contributed greatly to the preservation of the freedom we enjoy today. Being retired Air Force, and a son of the Black Hills, this book is filled with great memories of my roots, and the men & women who served there. I highly recommend this book as a gateway to pique the interest of anyone wanting to know more about Rapid City Army Air Force/Ellsworth AFB, SD.

A Great Addition to My 8th AF Library
This is a personal narrative that serves to enhance any 31st Bomb Group history. It gives great personal insight as to training and the missions undertaken by the Mighty Eighth Air Force.
