For 15-17 Subaru WRX STI JDM OE Style Front Bumper Lip Painted Glossy Black - PP

Near perfect, great finish, but needs heat gun
This lip is awesome. The finish is super high gloss. For the money, this looks so much better than an unpainted lip, as good as a carbon fiber one, and you cannot get a better deal on a painted lip like this anywhere else.
With figment, upon initial placement it had gaps on the sides near the fender and some holes were slightly off positioning, but if you install it how a professional would it will fit perfectly. I will list my process below. I've posted pics on my lapis blue 2016 STi in the WRX/STI Facebook groups. I hope Ikon Motorsports will restock their Gloss black pre painted CS style lip, and include gloss black pre painted versions of the VR style lip and the HT auto V1 & V2. You would dominate the market with painted lips.
Install process for proper figment:
(1) take off the bumper (2) line up lip with masking tape (3) use a heat gun (4) adjust for zero gaps (5) drill gradually while using heat gun for tightest fit.

Good looking, difficult to install
This lip comes unpainted FRP material. I don’t like the raw urethane look so I painted it, as I believe anyone should.
Fitment is a 7/10 as one side has a gap. However you can remedy this if you fully take the bumper off and install it. If you haven’t installed a lip before, I’d steer clear of this one and go with a pre drilled one like the V Limited, CS, VR, or OEM lips.
My biggest issue is the holes aren’t pre drilled. While this isn’t a deal breaker, what is a bigger issue is the holes for the bumper pop clips aren’t pre drilled either. This makes for a need to either dremel them out (what I will be doing) , or simply leaving 4 clips of the 9 on the bottom unused.
I would steer clear from the self tapping screws they include. As soon as I hung the bumper up, they came loose. I advise first using them to create the hole, then take slightly longer SS screws, washers & nuts to securely fasten it. At high speeds the self tappers will be pulled out from the downforce pushing the lip down. With proper washers & nuts, they’ll hold strong.
If Ikon Motorsports would pre drill this lip like the other lips they sell, this would make for a great lip. I know SubiSpeed will soon be offering a pre drilled S208 lip. Go that route and save yourself a headache unless you’ve installed multiple lips.
Also— this is my third, second lip from Ikon Motorsports. My 15-17 V Limited was pre drilled. No idea why there was such a discrepancy.
