I just got it and installed it but it's been great so far and worked 100% as expected, would do business with them again.

Works great but a bit long in the tooth with technology standards

The Silicondust HDHomerun Extend does what it says. I use it for hardware based WAN trans-coding of OTA with a very small bitrate with TVheadend DVR on a raspberry pi, and the h.264 encoding is pretty rough compared to direct MPEG-TS. I wish Silicondust would come out with a 4 tuner h.265 encoder. If you are not looking for something to transcode to mp4 directly then I would definitely recommend the Silicondust HDHomerun Connect Quatro.
