Poor Shifting Middle Gears

Poor shifting in middle gears. This wide-range cassette was bought to replace a Shimano 34 tooth cassette. The Shimano shifted smooth and fast, but this one lagged significantly, or just wouldn't shift at all in the middle 4 gears or so. I took out the middle gears and replaced them with the Shimano cogs to get it to work and still have the three lowest gears. It now shifts great.
