Excellent for its time
0 of 1 found this helpful for it's time this is what I'd consider one of the top dogs and yet its still relevant today and an excellent choice upgrade for older computer's that use the 478 socket, in a setup paired with 4x1GB pc3200 400mhz ram sticks it made a windows index experience rating of 4.4 and brought the ram up to a 5.0 on windows 7 32-bit.. this has been my experience with it in an HP pc from about 04-05, other's experience may vary, I actually got my old processor from a 3.7 to a 3.8 when I did a ram upgrade with it and do note that in my experience these components need to break in for each other so you may test it at first and like I at first saw a processor score of 3.8 again and a ram drop to 4.0 but after playing games, getting on youtube, or whatever I thought of to give it a break in it tested again at 4.4 and ram up to 5.0 and stayed consistant. Thank you for reading and I hope this review helps other consumers!

Great Budget Gamepad
It responds slightly better than my direct usb gamepad but ofcourse it doesn't handle like an actual console controller, but it is usable be it you have to get used to how it responds to input but I carved up some hellish drifts in crc2005 with the quadro AD at 60-80mph so player skill is definitely going to help push this thing, but to be honest I keep crashing too so it's not the best controller but I got it for my slimbook tablet that didn't have a touch screen, it would probably be a beastly compliment for your phone with bluetooth, I would had tested this but my phone wrestled with a 91 olds car door... leverage is everything.. I would put 4/5 but because it offers wireless functionality and of course with not too bad of lag being that I could drift with it... it's good, you can tell it's cheap by how it feels and the triggers will cramp your indexes cause you have to push them soo hard but it'll be fine if you're used to everything sucking anyway. but for the price it's the way to go, guess someone could modify it to be better but I haven't looked inside it.
if you get multiple you can use it for up to 4 players but the catch is you have to press the home button to change players and you don't actually change players you have to set up controls for each one cause p1=gamepad p2=acts as a mouse p3=keyboard p4=seperate set of keys so that's a nice plus but be it that you'd have to get used to any other modes than gamepad p1 mode as an individual auxilary skill... for the price it's good :3 that's all I can say.

Nice looks and nicely sized magnet
2 of 2 found this helpful The first thing that is striking about this model is how huge the magnet is compared to most 6" speakers. And with the right cross-over around 100Hz high pass and 3KHz low pass I believe that these could handle a good bit of power in a .1 cubed foot baffle or enclosure. I personally hooked a pair up to a 200RMS 400PEAK amplifier with a 350 high pass and they took it like champs.I would recommend these for working on a budget yet wanting something that doesn't look bland or ridiculous yet gets the job done and might I add quite right.
