OK pen, better options out there.
2 of 3 found this helpful I read up on these pens and thought I'd try one out. It's slim, light, and writes OK. It's not as smooth as some of my other pens, so if I anticipate the need to write a lot, I leave the Parker in my bag or on my desk at home.

Great EDC blade if you want an assisted knife
Not much to say that hasn't been said about the Kershaw Leek. It's a step up from their overseas speedsafe knives, at least the examples I've owned.
The Leek is a little small and tough to hold onto when deploying. It might be better for somebody with smaller hands. The blade came quite sharp out of the box.
I personally don't find that much benefit in the spring assist. I have some non-assisted knives that I can deploy just as fast, and they're easier to close. However, it is cool and fun, and if it's what you like, you can't go wrong with this knife.

interesting looking and functional knife
This knife came sharp. The blade was centered, and there's no play. It has good walk and talk, and there were no issues with the construction or workmanship. The wood handle got a little discolored from my jeans, which hasn't happened with any of my other knives (including many wood handled pocket knives).
